I have been practicing as an Equine Dental Technician since 2003. I originally trained in America at the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho which enabled me to carry out very basic work in the UK, dealing with sharp edges and broadening my experience and practical ability.

I intended very early on to build on my basic skills and work towards a recognised qualification. I started my Advanced training with BEVA and passed my examinations, and am now an Advanced Dental Technician and a member of the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians which is recognised by DEFRA (Rural England), The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the British Equine Veterinary Association.

My formal and UK qualifications means that you are guaranteed a high level of service/knowledge and I now carry out referral work from Veterinary practices. As a member of the BAEDT I have to maintain my on-going education every year and I have to be insured (medical malpractice and public liability).

The BAEDT have a code of conduct and disciplinary process which I follow implicitly, and which gives you, the client, peace of mind.

I live in South Devon, within the Dartmoor National Park. with my wife, Sarah, and we have our horses at home. Most of our riding is on Dartmoor and we often hack out with friends.

I have competed in show jumping and hunter trials, am passionate about horses and love my work.
